Week 35: Packing

Charlie is 20 now. Happy birthday, Charlie!

This weekend I am mostly packing.

(This is an old picture from when I was packing up to move to Maryland. I haven't made quite this big a mess here.)

Weeks 33 & 34: Home, a wedding, more birthdays, etc.

Next Saturday is Charlie's 20th birthday! Happy birthday, Charlie!

I haven't updated in two weeks because I was at home last weekend getting ear molds made with Adam:

Oh, and also for Lis and Cory's wedding.

The wedding was followed by an afternoon of dancing:

Alan (Cory's dashing dance partner in the bottom right-hand photo above) came home with us after the wedding, and we subjected him to dinner, a boat ride, and a marathon game of Trivial Pursuit. I don't know why he thinks my family is strange...

On the left, Lucy is being modest; on the right, my dad is watching TV.

Yesterday, for my birthday, we went to the San Jose Tech Museum of Innovation.

They have lots of fun games to play. On the left, I'm using my shadow to catch the animated sand as it falls; on the right, Annaleigh is looking at me from a Mars tunnel.

We got to try a mockup of an astronaut's jetpack...

... and a real Segway!

Click here for a video clip! (Sorry it's sideways.)

After the museum, we went to dinner at Johnny Rocket's, and then came home for birthday cake.

The candles are a 2 and then a 3, since I am 23. :)

What a fun day!

Week 32: Birthdays, etc.

This was a big birthday week for our family -- Grandpa Sir's 76th birthday in Omaha, and Trudy's in San Bruno. Happy Birthday!!

The picture above is from the end of the Surprise Birthday Picnic in San Bruno Park. It was lots of fun!

You lookin' at me?

Keep your eyes on the road, man!

The seating arrangement at this meeting inspired someone to move a pile of tables (the office furniture is being rearranged) so that we could get better pictures.
